Orange, CA (PRWEB) March 31, 2005 -- Caen Engineering, Inc, a
long-term storage solution provider for government, aerospace, and
universities, announced a strategic partnership with Intransa, an
innovator of enterprise-class, intelligent IP storage products and
software, to provide large-scale storage solutions for their
enterprise customers. Starting on March 15th, Caen will offer two
enterprise-level iSCSI products: the IP5500 and the
IP7500.
The IP5500 scales to 48TB, which makes it a great
midrange offering. The Intransa standard StorControl Management not
only provides an easy-to-use management interface, but also provides
excellent load balance and high availability (99.99% availability of
customer data). The IP7500 is the highest performance, highest
capacity IP SAN available through Caen. It is an ideal digital media
solution because it provides easy and reliable access to volumes
that can be used by many hosts. IP7500 also comes installed with
StorControl Management software for easy IT management.
"Caen
has always offered storage solutions for large companies like JPL
and GMP Computer," says Perri Strong, Director of Business
Development for Caen Engineering, "so providing Intransa solutions
is a natural extension of that. We've found Intransa to be the best
in enterprise-level, high-capacity storage."

has been providing high-end data storage solutions to government,
entertainment, telecommunications, and education industries for
